We are part of a powerful national network of Chambers accredited by the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) Accreditation. This accreditation demonstrates that we have met important and continuously updated quality standards that covers all aspects of our operations. It also gives us excellent access to national policy insights and dialogue with UK Government and reassures our members of our professionalism and commitment to the highest organisational standards.
In recognition of this we were shortlisted for UK Chamber of the Year in September 2024.
Wirral Chamber has a rich and distinguished history. We were founded in 1912 and our first president was Lord William Hesketh Lever. Then, as now, our purpose was to support local businesses and our local communities. Times may have changed but our commitment to doing the very best for the people of Wirral remains as vital and vibrant as ever.
